The purpose of this department is to care for and transport the sick and injured and provide advanced and basic life support to the citizens of the County. Information regarding actual locations and phone numbers of various fire stations may be obtained from this office. Emergency calls for either service should be made by dialing 911.

The Robertson County Emergency Medical Services Department is state recognized as with "Class A" rating as an ambulance service.

EMT's can be found out in the field during major community events such as the Robertson County Fair and Relay For Life.

EMS responds to calls from Springfield and from substations in Cross Plains and Ridgetop.
