Judicial Commissioner-Responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to, issuing arrest warrants upon findings of probable cause, the setting of bonds and conditions of bond, the issuance of search warrants and other legal documents.  High school disploma and residence in Robertson County required.  The ability to remain neutral and detached in decision making is necessary.  Must be willing to work shift rotations to include weekends and midnights.  Must be able to pass a drug screen and willing to submit to random drug screening.  Submit Robertson County Employment Application to Judicial Commissioner/Robertson County General Sessions Court, 531 South Brown Street, Springfield, Tennessee  37172.

 

 

Paramedic 1Applicants must possess a valid/unrestricted TN EMT-PARAMEDIC license. Must have prior verifiable ambulance experience, preferably in 911/Emergency service. Must have a minimum class D TN driver’s licence with F endorsement with an excellent driving history. Must be available for varying shift hours to include days, nights, weekends, inclement weather, and holidays. Must possess current CPR, ACLS, PALS, EVOC/VKF certifications. Youth Services Officer for Programs and Compliance- 

Job Description:  This position performs the following administrative functions for the Youth Services Department: providing oversight of Department of Children’s Services (DCS) through monitoring of all reports (including provider reports, assessments, etc.), facilitation of DCS Foster Care/Periodic Progress Reviews; to include determining appropriateness of Permanency Plans and goals thereof, creating and implementing alternative-sentencing programs for juveniles and their families, and scheduling of in-service trainings for Youth Services staff on a quarterly basis.  This position requires on-call duties. This position is supervised by the Youth Services Director.

Qualifications: At minimum, Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice, Social Work, Education, or a related field. Bilingual skills in Spanish and English desired. This position requires strong communication skills, both verbal and written; applicants must possess knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and will be responsible for data entry in the Court’s database.  Applicants should have an understanding of DCS policy and procedure; to include drafting a clear and effective Permanency Plan (custodial and non-custodial). Applicants must also possess a valid driver’s license, and submit to criminal background checks, and random drug screenings.
