Transfer Station Schedule & Fees


Transfer Station Schedule:

Monday – Friday 7:00 a.m.-3:15 p.m. (you must be in line by 3:00 p.m. to enter) Saturday: 7:00 a.m. – 11:15 a.m. (you must be weighed in by 11:15 a.m.to dump)

Transfer Station Fees
In county $54/ton in county, $64/ton out of county with a $5 minimum for 180 lbs. and under for all Solid Waste and Construction Type materials (weight is calculated on 20 lb. increments.)

For Brush (tree limbs, yard waste, etc.) the charge is $30/ton with a $5.00 min. charge

Tires are $94.00 per ton or $0.50 per tire if in a mixed load. Tires on the rim are $2.50 each ~ Inquire for details

Additional Fees
$10.00 charge for all items which contain a compressor or capacitor (examples: refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners) There is a $2.50 charge for propane cylinders.

Recycling
At the Transfer Station we recycle cardboard, newsprint/paper, rechargeable batteries, cell phones, electronics, used oil, plastics #1-7, and automotive (wet cell) batteries and household paint.  There is no charge for some of these items if recycled.

We do not recycle glass at this time.
We do not accept any type of hazardous materials. Enclosed cylinders, such as gas tanks require special preparation. Call if you have any questions.
